Some people have special boxes attached to their TVs, which monitor what is being watched and by whom. These boxes feed back results on a daily basis to create what are known as "overnight ratings". They give minute by minute numbers, as well as programme averages, five minute averages and fifteen minute averages. They have a margin of error of around 2%.

In addition, there's a much larger group who keep diaries of what they watch. These are collected weekly and the data is added to the overnights to produce "consolidated ratings". Because the sample size is four times greater, these have a slightly lower margin of error, however I believe they are only accurate to five minutes, not minute by minute.

In other news, Maro Engel will race for Venturi next season alongside Sarrazin. Should be interesting...

Also, Andretti has signed Félix da Costa to partner Robin Frijns, replacing Simona del Silvestro.

I hope that she finds a decent seat.

The Montreal date is also annoying for me, and I would assume some other Canadians, because it's on the same weekend as the Toronto IndyCar race. I suppose I could go to Montreal just for the Saturday and try to get back to Toronto for Sunday.

I hope Massa gets the second Jaguar seat but that's very unlikely due to his F1 commitments...

Mitch Evans confirmed at Jaguar with Adam Carroll and Ho-Pin Tung. Not sure if that means a 3 car team, sharing seats or one is reserve.

It will be interesting to see how Mitch compares with Adam, because most of his career he's had pay driver teammates - Laine, Cecotto, Markelov, Gelael, none of whom could ever get close to him consistently.

As summer comes an end, I am not impressed with Mitch's GP2 campaign. I am not confident with his talent for Formula E. I haven’t wanted to tell you this, but you’re going to find out soon enough.

Almost week-old news already, but since I don't see it mentioned here yet, the proposed track for the New York event was unveiled.
http://fiaformulae.com/en/news/2016/...rk-city-eprix/

The Formula E website still has TBA for the Montreal track, although what I assume is a guess is shown in the second of these articles based on the streets mentioned in the earlier first article.

speaking of new york and Montreal we had a small case of musical dates here New York now has the clashing headache with WEC Nurburgring while Montreal is now last race of season, no TBAs either

Well, that solves my problem of having to choose to between the Toronto IndyCar and Montreal FE events originally scheduled on the same weekend. But oddly (if true), "the change came at the request of the organisers in the US". If they were the ones who wanted a different date, you'd think they could have gone one week earlier or later to avoid the already well-known problem of the date clash with the Nürburgring WEC race.

I was here at BA ePrix last week. I have to say the action on track was not bad. Unfortunately for us, the spectators, the organization did a really poor job.
Having people recognizing Pechito in his own country after 3 years of success abroad was the highlight for me.

Could be. In fact Alejandro Agag said, during the presentation of Gutiérrez happened in January, that the Mexican could be racing more than one or two events.
