Would it be aerodynamically bad to just make one big rollhoop like the WSC cars had rather than two individual hoops?

Question:

Please define what constitutes the Lucchini's "coming out party" at Silverstone???

Does that mean that they will just exhibit it in the paddock???

Will it run some laps???

Is it going to race????

I thought thatthe car would be entered in competition next year or later this year...

Any clarification on this would be appreciated...

I've got a picture from DSC, but you would need permission from them to post it here.

Why not ask?

Cv0 : a new LMP2 to come in 2006

The french website Infocourse, managed by Laurent Chauveau, mentions the new french prototype to come in 2006, build by CvO Racing, as a "LMP2 to come".

The first one was build under 2004 LMP2 rules but with a small engine (for VdV enduros), and, after a first entire year of tests, should be entered at LM by customers in 2006, Thierry Perrier beeing the first one.

Price : less than 100 000 € (without engine)

RfH - all that huffing & puffing - 1-race wonders. Sad really.

My guess - new Dome with Mugen power, no Judd any more and the coin came down heads, so I will say GTP.

For people who didn't see a photo of the new Lucchini LMP2, look at Mulsanne's Corner.

The car looks great and professional (especially compared to their previous cars).

The car looks great, I can't wait to see it running against the Courage C65. Does anyone know if it is a strictly LMP2 car or can in be run in LMP1 spec?

It can be run as an LMP1 with few changes apparently.

good looking for sure, but not as good as it could be, it looks very nose heavy, like it's got a snow plough or somehing on there!
I guess it's not helped by the long front overhang and the higher floor sides...

Still better looking than I expected an LMP2 to look

Recieved this e-mail from Zytek. They said in a previous e-mail they will not build a hybrid of the current car, and as they are pushing ahead with the works car, hopefully this means a new reg car will be ready for 2006!

'Thank you for your recent enquiry about our sportscar project.

Zytek are currently working on many different projects, but unfortunately we are not yet in position to release any information about these projects.

May we take this opportunity to thank you for the interest you have shown in our company and our products.'
