a (maybe) dumb question:
what is your favourite spot to watch this parade? I fear these cars will not pass through the straight upfront the grandstands.. I did manage to miss the BMW V12 or Alonso in F1 for the same reason... I'm happy to hear any suggestions.... |

I'd be very surprised if they don't pass along the main straight.....

Just seen that tickets have gone on sale for this exhibition at the museum. Used to be you'd get in free with a GE ticket no? For sure with an ACO membership. Maybe a change for this year given all the extra cars and expense?

You still get museum access on race week with a GA ticket, assume they are promoting these for the other dates.
Typically ambiguous wording though, can imagine people paying extra thinking it’s a separate part. |

Thought museum was 1 visit per GA ticket and so expect separate exhibition to be similar.
Derek Bell column in magazine mentioned Porsche museum cars not turning up to the party but having a separate event at same time at Hockenheim. |

Looks like a further 80 Le Mans competition cars and some American muscle will be displayed on the Wednesday in Cathedral Square.
https://www.dailysportscar.com/2023/...4-05-2023.html Don't know too much about the organisers but that's got to be worth a trip. |

Shame no Ferrari 512, that battle between the 917 and 512 in the movie is what got me so interested in the LM 24 hours as a kid.

Still trying to wrap my head around how these are all fitting in the museum. Are they just terfing out all the other cars (and random fire engines) that aren't former winners?

I'm really looking forward to this. Planning to visit as early as possible during my trip, to avoid what will inevitably be horrendous queues/crowds. |

Seems to be a lot of jaguars missing from the list, anyone know why

I suspect it is because the Jaguars are in private hands whereas other cars are still owned by their respective factories, so easier to bring together.
List of the Jaguar Heritage Collection => https://www.jaguarheritage.com/vehicle-collection/ A few F1 cars and one sportscar which perhaps only has American history? |

That is a fantastic list of cars and I wish I was going to Le Mans this year to see it.
It's a shame that some of the more modern winning GT's/LMP2 cars from the last 20 years or so are not going to be there (Corvette's, Panoz's, RML Lola's etc) |

Exhibition runs right through til just after the Classic.
Jaguar in free fall at moment so probably no assistance to get cars there. Was hoping for a display in something/somewhere where getting them (or most of them) out on the track on Friday and Sat and also for the Classic is possible. If all static in museum surely they would have had a longer exhibition. |

Actually saw a couple articles in US papers with today being the anniversary of the first running and some of the old cars mentioned. Was thoroughly surprised

The 80 cars on track at start/finish straight Friday 7.30 pm to 8.45 for a Le Mans style start (and hopefully a lap) - bit of gap from 9 till 11 before fireworks and drone show.
Restricted to full week tickets. Orderly LM race start I assume or could be tricky |
