Looking through the field (based on Phillip Island), we have about a third of the cars with both the regular series drivers, a third with one regular and the remaining third has no regular drivers.
2 x Regular Driver Cars are: 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 17, 33, 39, 111, 888 Of these you would rate cars 2 & 888 as favourites and cars 6, 7, 9, 17 & 33 as contenders. 1 x Regular Driver Cars are: 3, 11, 12, 16, 22, 24, 25, 51, 55 Of these you would rate cars 22 & 51 as possible contenders. 0 x Regular Driver Cars are: 4, 5, 10, 13, 14, 15, 18, 21, 23, 34, 67, 88, 333 Of these you would rate cars 5, 18 & 34 as possible contenders. I am hoping for Car 17 to win it to continue the sequence of the 888 chassis winning. Chassis 10 (2006), 12 (2007), 14 (2008) & 16 (2009 hopefully). |

Unless I am very much mistaken, this will be the first Bathurst in some time without Mr Seton?
He seems to have departed without so much as a whimper... |

Lowndes and Whincup are hard to beat at the mountain, all the way to the flag boys.
I was very impressed by Besnard/Ritter and Luff/Web at Phillip Island, wouldn't it be great if one of those pairs pulled off a win. |

Ordinary livery! For the record, I'll have $5 each way on car 8 and car 18 |

I might have missed somthing very obvious, but why are Whincup/Lowndes running car 888 instead of car 1?
P.S. My money is on DJR for a 1-2 Finish! |

Roland Dane thought it was more lucky given they wn the 3 straight in #888. so he paired both Craig and Jamie in that car and he didn't think it appropriate to have the part times in car #1 so he reverted back to #88.

well we survived 3 laps in the Prado! Wonder if anyone has done a full 161 (or whatever it is) laps at 60kph! Never having been there before it really is a lot narrower than it looks on tele, especially into the Cutting. 30kph thru the Dipper had the Bridgestone Dueler D694's (buffed for tarmac use ) and my sons squelling with delight Mrs wasn't that excited, although she drove one lap while I took pictures!

Are Perkins and Wood confirmed in the #247 car NOT #11? Will be one of the first times in over 20 years there hasn't been a #11...
