Well that had to be unsafe release, few members didn't even look up and sent Wickens almost in Pags. Can tell he is used to Indy and held up before a collision occurred

Gotta hand it to you guys, I'm impressed you can put up with this standard of coverage. So many ad breaks and nonsense. I can't get over how beautiful the cars look now days though. |

I have to admit, I don't watch any other sports outside of motor racing so have nothing to compare it to. And I imagine our nations have very different coverage of very different sports anyway.
Anything is better than the old ITV F1 days though. Where they'd ask Mark Blundell hard-hitting questions like "How important is pole position Mark?" "It's very important, starting from the front is a big advantage!" "Thanks Mark!" -- Seems like the gaps have stablised between the top 3 now. |

Newgarden just stomped the field, he pulled a hella gap in the last 4 laps just to prove he was toying with them all throughout the race

I try to get the BT Sport/ESPN HD feed, as you get the BT Sport commentary team, when NBCSN goes to an ad break but today the feed is buffering like crazy and it's not easy to follow what's going on.

Bad luck for Power, however a commanding drive from Josef Newgarden and just what he needed to defend his driver's title. Penske were top Chevy, with the rest of the top 6 places taken by Honda. IndyCar and Road America have agreed to a three-year extension for the series to continue racing at the venue.

It wasn't the best race as it was dominated by Newgarden, but it's always nice to see Indycars on Road America. What a great crowd too!

Dixon makes an interesting point regarding the UAK, after last weekend's race

Finally wrapped this one up last night and I'll agree that this was a little bit of a let down as it was a runaway at the front. Also, not as much "racing" through the field, but it's always nice to see this series at Road America.
