Was there last year and loved every minute of it. Down for Sat and Sun again. Wonder how bad the fog will get this time round. If my memory serves me right wasn't the safety car out for nearly 3hrs last year because of the fog, lol.

Alan, two questions please. Firstly, are we using the new pits or the old pits? Secondly, will old Post 1 (Ped Bridge) be stood down for the race as per last year?

I'm not marshalling (will be tucked up in the media centre), but I can confirm that the race will be running from the 'old' paddock.

did that meeting at cadwell, apart from the alfas not being there probably the best of the day was the mono's as there was almost no racing but some of the cars were fantastic to look at, there's an older yellow and black yale liveried car that has the f1 shape of the '81. couldnt get enough of it! had another blow on the mainstraight parked on our post, shame im missing this event brands for me!

First time marshalling this and I am down for all three days! Very much looking forward to it.
We're camping from Thursday night to Sunday. Does anyone have any advice on kit to bring (aside from the usual marshal kit of gloves, warm layers, waterproofs, hats, food for the 5000)? Thanks! |

I'm guessing that the commentary will be radio only, so bring one if you want to listen in. |

This is going to sound a really stupid question but, how do the flaggies see the next flag posts in the dark?
Theres no doubt a really simple obvious answer. |

I found yellow lenses to be best (pair of glasses I used were changeable between black and yellow), black means you fall over stuff easily! Though that might be just me...
The "flag" system for the night is basically a yellow light mounted on a board at each flag point, they can do stationary or flashing. |

Sorry its yet another foolish question from me...
so are normal flags used during daylight hours and the lights during the night? or is it like the f1 style superbright LED that work in daylight also |
