It's awesome! Looks brutal compared to the 550GTS, which is more stylish.

Do they really need all those ducts and vents? Compared to other top class GT runners it's got quite a few holes.

Well the DBR9 is more about agressiveness when I look at its design. The 550GTS has smoother and cleaner lines overall. Just an observation

I like both equally.

well if u look at the rear wing of the aston it's virtually the same as the 550. and the fender flares are very similar to the 550. after all same company and if the same style fenders and wongs worked so well on teh 550 why change them on the aston. the car does look meaner than the 550. especially with that huge grill. basically it says MOVE B!&%#, GET OUT OF THE WAY, i'm coming through. now i wonder what drivers they will have for it. i say they should use alain menu, david brabham, rikard rydell, darren turner, karl wendigler, and jaime camphell walter

Could I also put the names of Perry McCarthey and Damon Hill into the frame remember they are both very good mates of Blundell and Brundle.

Adam, you may be able to see the Prodrive influence if you take a look at this pic from the Care Racing site. This is a similar pic to the ones released today for the DBR9.

Good lord that's beautiful. Those Prodrive guys are at the top of the list as far as designing sportscars go. Everything they put together is absolutely golden.

I want one!

maybe it's just a display aero kit? using the ferrari kit and then refining it when testing/developing?

It really looks similar to the 550 but all F1 cars look almost the same to.. I think the aero package will probably change a bit after tests.

But an awesome car it is.

Fingers crossed it goes as well as it looks.

I guess it has been built to the ACO rules as its only due to run at Sebring & Le Mans + a few times later TBC. Therefore will it compete against the MC12 next year?

Some of the aero aids look a bit exposed to the curbs for a 24 hr race.
