Ford announcement this afternoon at NAIAS revealing the new Bullitt Mustang.


New limited-edition Mustang Bullitt features retuned 5.0-liter V8 engine that packs at least 475 horsepower and 420 lb.-ft. of torque and tops out at 163 mph.

New version salutes 1968 movie car with effortlessly cool appearance, available classic Dark Highland Green exterior paint and subtle chrome accents; interior highlights include 12-inch all-digital LCD instrument cluster and available RECARO*black leather-trimmed seats with unique green accent stitching.

no doubt the mind playing tricks on me but seeing the pics of the above new mustang and then the BMW...i cant help but see similarities.

That DBS is just divine. Wouldn't have it in that red though!
Love the big mouth front.

Its definitely Lotto winning stuff though.... $517,000 plus on-road costs Down Under.

i think it looks nice but doesnt really look like a BMW either.

has the two grills and badge but reminds me a lot of the Merc roadster. as you point out...maybe it is just the head lights.

Side view looks like an older MB cabrio, but it looks smaller than the race cars at least. Probably still no room for the "seats" in the second row, never understood how I fit better in the 4 series cabrio than the 6. ZERO leg room in the 6 series the parents were looking at. And yes, I admit I'm not the average at 6'7 300 but I couldn't get a foot between the seat the back of the front in that much car.
