I went with ALMS, although I almost went for LMS for the grids. But ALMS gives you Sebring, Petit Le Mans, Laguna and Road America (give us a longer race!).
robert only 38 more days to have to wait for Sebring! |

Really, for me, it comes down to LMS vs. ALMS.
LMS is more the proper endurance series as a whole, and I'd love for the ALMS to lengthen their races some. But, LMS doesn't have near enough races yet. LMS had larger grids, ALMS stronger teams. Would be nice to have the grids mixed, with longer racers more often, but for now, not a reality. |

It has to be either the LMS or the ALMS for me, both great championships with good grids, great tracks and great racing. What more do you want.

I personally think this is the direction the ACO is deliberately heading. |

Not the "we want a World Championship" spiel again... - isn't it getting boring by now, dreaming up ficticious schedules that you know won't ever happen?

I like it currently.
3 big championships: ALMS, LMES, FIA GT I wouldn't like 1 big championship. I think ALMS' 3 hour races are quite good, + 3 longer races I think Road America should be 500 miles though "Big" races like LM, Sebring, PLM wouldn't be so special anymore if we had dozens of 24h races. I like that LMES and ALMS have slightly different concepts. ALMS has shorter and faster races while LMES has 5 1000km/6h races. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. |

I pretty much enjoy most endurance series out there; but for me it's Grand Am.

I don't find rioting & death threats over cartoons all that funny either.
I'd continue, but then I'd be waaaaaaaaaaaay off topic. |

I think much of what we're seeing has to do with a lot more than the cartoon; that just brought other issues to the surface. As long as both sides look at each other as "those people' it's not going to get any better either. I could go on as well; but this is not the place for this sort of thing, is it?

GA, LMES, ALMS, FIA-GT is my ranking - GA wins because there is so much racing in it, and so many cars and teams that are potential winners. LMES is developing a great P1 field and GT field, but behind it.... ALMS I have to admire because of the Audis, Dyson Lolas and works 'Vettes, but I think in '06 Audi, Porsche, Chevy and Panoz will have the whole series wrapped up tight. Not much actual racing. FIA GT is always entertaining, but the spread in driver abilities is a bit too wide and I do prefer prototypes to GTs.
BGT needs sorting out, it should be great but there's too much time being wasted on politics. In my ideal world the EERC would SORT IT OUT :P |
