Some very stupid moves at the beginning, but at least there was clean racing for the last 30 mins.
The drivers need to calm down at the beginning... Ok race then. Darren Turner seems to be growing quite the beard. |

A fine effort by Turner and Enge, but it would have been so much different but for the silly bumps at the start, I can see now why teams are moaning about damage, not to mention Matteo Bobb's scary crash

The top 10-12 cars are close to speed. So they try to make up positions at the start/re-start, just like NASCAR, which causes yellow flags.
Overall good race but I am not sure about Vitaphone #2 getting hit with a late drive-through because they threw the tires into the bay. Hmmm, safety concern I guess and its the same for everybody. Great pit stop by Young Driver picked up the lead in the pits. 6 hours of ahead of the west coast, so I'll just catch it later today. Last month I kinda figured it out, but if Vitaphone doesn't score in either of the last two events, its going to be REALLY close if Mutch can score maximum points. The early crash out of the Qualifying is not that BAD, though it doesn't help. Last edited by dj4monie; 28 Nov 2010 at 07:52. |

Westbrook/Mutsch fastest in warmup earlier - starting at the back so expect a charge! #1 Maserati starts 8th on the grid

Quite a contrast from yesterday... empty stands for Saturday, pretty packed with people today.

Nice to see the grandstands filling up.
It's not F1 numbers, but it's still a good number. |

The Matech Fords must be running very aggressive on the brakes, there's a huge amount of brake dust coming off the cars braking for Descida do Lago (turn 4).
Bertolini dropping back rather quickly... tire wear? |

Good race 2day! In the last 10 mins, the battle between 11th was epic! Hopefully, San Luis will be even more entertaining!

Congrats to the boyz from Brazil, excellent race from them. Too bad Ramos is about 1.5 second a lap slower otherwise they would have won sooner.
Looks like Young Driver has a slim chance to win the Driver's Championship. #1 will drop some success ballast however while #7 gain some. Man that ride height failure at the start of the season really hurts now. Excellent CLEAN racing, not nearly as much beating and banging as yesterday. Cheap trophies? How do you break one by just putting it down? Ratel!!!! Well Young Driver #7 behind by 33 points, SLIM, but possible. |

Does anyone know which chassis 01 or 05 Phoenix has been running the past half of a season since they've only been running the 1 car?

I'm not sure, best to email them and ask, the car that had the fire was returned to its owner. I believe this is Phoenix' car outright, not sure on the number however.

Good racing, that move up the inside on Turner for the lead was a little iffy, but he passed him regardless. I think he saved the driver's championship for their sister car. With a win Turner/Enge would be nipping at #1's heels. It seems they'll get 2nd unless something drastic happens next week!

I'm curious to know the real story behind this, what was Bouchut doing? Was he having a moment of pique? The mind boggles...

Who knows? The Sacred Monster works in mysterious ways... Bet Basseng was ticked off, having come all the way to Brazil and then being excluded for something he didnt do. Question is did any of this really have anything to do with Bouchut's no show at San Luis? Im guessing Scott Tucker pays more then All Inkl... |

Fastest lap?
I've been trying to find out which driver posted the fastest lap at the Interlagos qualifying race, but have had no luck so far. For some reason this particular Qualifying race isn't included with the rest of the PDF's at the GT1 site.
Does anyone know? |
