I reckon Goff for pole, Neal race 1, Tordoff race 2, Jordan race 3 having finished 6th and being drawn out of the fishbowl for pole.
I’m not a Matt Neal fan but I reckon he’ll get the championship this year, judging by how quick the car already is. It’d be nice to see him equal the record if anything. |

Nice interview with Plato at the media day here, getting some 'excuses' in early

Apparently to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the BTCC, they are going to do a repeat of the 1958 final, with Sutton and Turkington competing in identical Renault Clios

Seems a bit odd that they've dropped the chassis that won the championship and kept the one that had the biggest accident. No reason why they still couldn't mess up the diffs though, it's not as though they're fixed to each chassis permanently...

Forecast for the weekend looks wet, and I’m in the uncovered Paddock stand...

My weather forecast site of choice currently has it raining Saturday PM and then all day Sunday... still time for that to change, of course.

Don’t give JP any more potential excuses I only included that to complete the list if issues the car apparently had! Mind you he wasn’t too complementary about his new car at Media day either........

He's already got a string of excuses available in the back pocket - RWD weight penalty, Subaru measure from TOCA, different chassis, cars are damaged, recovering from surgery..... |
