Done a fair amount of racing with Mike over the years and always has a smile even when things aren't going right, come on mike you haven't missed any racing this year so get prepared for 2021 as you're still a youngster

GCCheddaris should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I have only had the pleasure of meeting Mike once, at Castle Combe a few years ago. In spite of the fact that he was sorting an electrical problem, within seconds of introducing myself we were chatting like we had known one another all our lives. Keep fighting Mike, my brother's beaten it and do can you.

Always a pleasure talking with you Mike! You have always been friendly and welcoming and not afraid to speak your mind about various series and regs!!
I know we share a passion for classic saloons as long as they are 'right' and we always speak of the Escorts your Lairy Canary and that cracking yellow mk1 you drove to the circuits in!
Glad that someone finally brought a pukka Group A Commodore over to race, we were both hopeful of such an appearance even if it hasn't been out in anger yet!
Top bloke hang in there!

Always liked this one of Mike just leaving the garages at the start of the 2014 Spa 6-hours.

My very best wishes Mike!

Met Mike first at the 360 6 hour race and then by accident at Race Retro 2-3 years later when we both admiring a 924. I also enjoyed watching him race the Gp2 Escort in the CSCC Special Saloons and Modsports revival races at Mallory. A pleasure to talk to and very helpful when I was trying to modify my, then, 924S fuel filler to receive fuel more efficiently.
A great stalwart of10-Tenths, too, and I always enjoy reading his posts.

Keep fighting Mike!!
Despite the great attraction of Peter Auto, Masters and so many prestigious events, you're overdue a visit to Knockhill, where you will be made most welcome.
Following Richards's post earlier in this thread, photo from Oulton Park attached, when he was pit crew and I was taking photos or sheltering from the monsoon.

My memories largely involve bicycles on our European forays ... particularly long downhill daylight run to dinner at Nurburgring .... then a slog back, much later, over-refreshed in the dark ...

We did a lap of Pau on the bikes too didn't we??

Recall driving away from Portimao at the end of Lurani 2013, following Big Blue and Delta Truck, me only heading to Faro in the hire car, but the 'truckers' starting the long run home.

Mike, you've always been super helpful and friendly, often my de facto crew chief when Iain busy with other punters! I wish you all the very best.

Get well soon Mike

I met Mike on these virtual pages and I have seen him racing at Monza, Le Castellet and Le Mans. The photos of his smile confirmed he is such a nice man and he was doing something he really like it…...Mike you will win this race !

All the very best from all the way to Italy !

Sorry, no pictures. I only met Mike once in person & that in the gathering gloom of an October evening. However, I will return to your workshop (if I can find it again!) for that coffee & a natter.

There's something for you to look forward to...!!!

He with Zef had a top ten finish and won handicap in Grid2 at Le Mans Classic.
On top of that pair won sportsmen of meeting award.
Not bad with an old Porsche
The pair are due to drive a Pre War job in LMC whenever it’s held!
Need him there to see if he’s a proper driver in one of those really old bags of bolts.
Keep going Mate and we will find you a car!

That shows the skill Mike has. He can turn his hand to anything and come up with results. Still plenty of races to do. Hope he gets through this and back to racing

Magic Mike bringing home my Mustang at Sebring. I normally start our races as I have a slightly larger frame than Mike and it's easier to tighten belts at the driver change that is to loosen them

Digging into my archives, some of which don't seem to be where I thought they were.

So many winter project starts planned ...

Running Tango as the 360MC 6hrs. Complete with star drivers!

Not Mike in the car taking the water splash even if it does look more like rallying.
