There is a great story about a family of ducks being used as a moving chicane in that excellent book "Flat Out, Flat Broke" that I finally got a chance to read over my holiday last week.

Ian-S should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
You guys have a short memory

Didn't Alan McNish hit one last year in Friday practice a few hundred yards past where that nutter was on Sunday?

I do remember catching the "replay" on Digital+, yuk!

Everyone knows surely that the British care far more about animals than they do people!
Except snakes - remind me never to go to Malaysia - Oh my God - that scenario doesn't even bear thinking about for me. The whole snake poulation could be wiped out tomorrow - (please!!!) and I would jump for joy - but furry little hares and bunnies - that's different - I've only hit two on shouts so far - but they do make a bit of a clonk I must admit!! - and I was upset honest!

So it takes a man to hit a stag then have it presented to him?

Note to Bernie.... let some wild deer loose at Hockenheim so that todays drivers can show their worth!

Not exactly F1, but a few years ago at Castle Combe, an Alfa Romeo 75 Turbo (ex Italian Touring Car) hit the marshalls post at Old Paddock. Result - big fire from split fuel tank and major damage to the car.
When it was shipped back to the paddock, there was a nicely cooked bunny between the spokes of the back wheel.

Actually Mr V, Eddie Irvine wiped out a hare at the GP when driving for Ferrari. The marshals and other officials on the start line got covered in the bits!

Water Tower at Oulton has two rabbits that regularly watch the racing - one is fairly young and is still at white badge stage the other is going for its red badge.

There is also a rabbit which races the bikes when they come out of Douglas/Mountview at Anglesey.

However, the rabbits got their own back at Cadwell when we heard a radio message to the effect that the tyrewall at Gooseneck had collapsed. There was nothing near it when it happened and on closer inspection it was noticed that they had been undermining it.

How come the nutter ends up in court for trespass but the rabbit gets off scot free?
