Likewise. I never saw them live in action back then, so I just got to see them this time.

cars
I have spoken tot the organiser. And it is for cars of that period, witch are build by DMSB2000 or super production rules. There are two german cars also compeeting build by those rules, but never have driven in the DTCC.
And a couple of the orignal drivers stil have there cars and that is why they are also competing. |

They have found quite a few cars from the days, although hardly any of the drivers that drove them, according to http://www.touringcartimes.com/news.php?id=2566
The bmw 325i's are a cup that was added to the dtcc to bolster the grids when the champioship was going downhill. The Alfa and the Peugeot I think are cars of the very similar predecessor of the DTCC. I think Jaap Kielman, Ben Janbroers and Ron Braspenning drove their cars in the DTCC, although they were no regular front-runners. |

Those where definitely not 316's They were slow, but not that slow. And offcourse Coronel and Huisman drove 320's, and not 325's, since the SuperProduction-cars are limited to 2l-engines. Those DNRT-325's look very much like the cars that drove in the same races as the DTCC-cars, so that is very well possible.

Damn it, you are right A real shame, because those cars were a disgrace to the racing
