Ok I was correct it is a joint chassis project between the two.
"At Jerez, Honda and BAR are expected to resurrect the 'Athena' project - a joint chassis development programme that they last worked on around 18 months ago." I think the electronics side dealt with they sensors that were hooked up to the car to analyze the dynamics of the car. From formulaone.com Last edited by neilap; 14 Jun 2002 at 19:45. |

I don't know if I should be happy or scared! After all the motor is new, it might blow up. It must be an improvement though because they are taking the chance. When it finally gets introduced in a race it is supposed to have as much power as the top guns in F1.
It is so hard to watch world cup here. The matches start at 2:30 am. I try I really do but man... |

At this satge, I couldn't care less if that Honda engine blows up. If it gets Jacques onto the front row, that would be nirvana for me.
Neilap, tape the Senegal game - that drumming they play is incredible. When the team attacks, they have one beat, and when they defend, they switch to much deeper drums, and a totally different beat. Maybe we should have these jungle drums at race tracks to cheer on our favourites. Valve |

Woohoo!
<puts on a Honda hat for the first time> If it gets JV back onto the podium, I don't care who's engine it is! Get that new spec motor out _now_! The man'll love a peaky engine! Oversteer's his natural state! |

I dont think the motor will be that more powerful out of the gate. The current unit is not that far away from the top teams. By the last few races I think the new motor will be as powerful as Ferrari and the rest.
By the way VB I watched the game. Exciting team! |
