Sorry I wasn't just aiming that at you! Every year we have the same faffing over tickets and every year the same stuff gets said about people not sorrying and so on and so forth!

I could have been in a similar position to you but changed my plans as I have to be at home as am currently helping to arrange a race meeting for the same weekend as the GP. I wish I only had an hours drive from leaving my house to getting to silverstone will be about 3 hours in total done over a couple of days cos i have to go here there and everywhere!

I am really looking forward to the GP and can't wiat to find out where I am!

So really what you're saying there is "where are my tickets, why aren't they here yet, whats taking them so long" I think a lot of the reason for the "faffing" is that most people look forward to the meeting, and like to get everything planned out in plenty of time then they can have an enjoyable weekend.

No, I'm wondering where I am on the circuit. I know the tickets will be here soon, even without TY's info.

I just love walking into the circuit on GP morning and I can't wait.

what else do you expect of the south. the men play girle games like rugby union instead of the mans game league. some even watch loosers like northhampton, a northern team even beat them at thier own game.

Becketts Ouside for me. Really looking forward to it.

Bit miffed at the no centre access on the guest passes. I think thats a bit mean. If you are on the inside how are your guests supposed to come and say hello?

Got to wait until I get home tonight to see where I am. However, I have heard a nast rumour that the guest tickets don't allow access to the infield this year. Does anybody know if this is true?

Ive done pit wall 2 twice now, you will have a fabulous time. The only downside is you can't get behind the garages to see what goes on there.

RobM...see my post.

There is indeed no center or infield access for guest passes...which to be quite frank sucks.

Sws I was at stowe last year, really enjoyed it.

Centre Passes for Guests

Who decided that there should be no access to the centre for guests. For all pit, start, assembly, race control marshals, how do they get to be with their guests.

Nice to be told only when you get your passes. How to p**s off marshals in one easy go.

Quite simply they don't Peter. The list you give isn't exhaustive either there are all the posts on the inside of the circuit too.

I assume the centre is being kept for coporate hostility only which is annoying, I used to love wandering through the historic paddock when I was a spectator.

It's not just not getting to see your guests that's annoying. The crowds are much thinner on the infield, so your guests also get a much better view.

I believe this is the second year where there have been no infield tickets, not only for marshals but for spectators as well. Before you all get carried away, it could have something to do with the CAA and the airfield?
