Are we thinking Balzan and Pierguidi are likely to help get Beretta to the front should it come to it?

Yup, if Beretta gets around O'Connell watch the lap times blow out till Beretta passes them both.

The thing that everyone expected to happen has happened...
Is it still possible for Dalziel to take it? |

Honestly don't think Beretta deserves the title if he does finally get it after the dickbag moves he's pulled this year.

I wonder if the Ferrari gave up because of unseen damage from the O'Connell tangle, or if he got pinged by trying to go round the outside of Cunningham, or if it was going to develop the race-ending fault anyway.
From the shots before we saw the car had stopped he wasn't close enough to the Acura to make a move, but at the hairpin he was almost side-by-side. |

That was one of the most dramatic sporting events that I have ever watched.

Already posted this on the series thread, but it's pretty big news. Bove is out at PWC.

Race was entertaining, to put it mildly.
Successful standing start was nice. Fantastic job by Johnny O to take the championship. Heck of an example of perseverance after the car fire and Beretta's antics, both at Long Beach and today. Overcoming that was a truly impressive accomplishment. Huge congrats to O'Connell. As for Beretta, I'm not sure I've ever seen a more appropriate time for a car to break. Great run by EFFORT Racing's Porsches; Manufacturer champions, teams champions, and third in the driver's championship for Ryan Dalziel. An excellent season! |

What a great race! We watched from inside turn five and it was amazing! I've watched pwc at Sonoma and long beach before and they were good races but gt3s and Laguna are just made for each other.what an awesome race in gt and gta.honestly best gt racing I've seen at Laguna since alms '12 & '13.
Pretty dramatic race too,not a big fan of Cadillac or beretta.but they made for a good race to follow, glad beretta didn't win with shenanigans, karma is a b. Road to Indy and Indy lights were ok races. Now if only we can get indycar here next year....... |
