This weekend it's the final round of the AUVO at El Pinar. I may or may no attend it.
The recently revamped Turismo AUVO class will feature over 20 entries, mostly VW Gol Mk2. |

Round 1 of the 2024 AUVO National Championships will be held on April 6-7 at El Pinar.
The Superturismo entry list has 20 drivers, including Fernando Etchegorry, Rodrigo Aramendia, Facundo Ferra, Jorge Pontet, Agustin Cejas, Juan Manuel Casella and Gastón Irazú. The Turismo AUVO has over 30 entries. I don't have official numbers for the Superescarabajos. The Fórmula 4 Uruguaya and Fórmula Super Vee have agreed to merge with some Balance of Performance. |

Round 1 is this weekend, and I plan to attend on Sunday.
Races will air live on the Channel 4 broadcast network, as it had done from 2000 to 2008. The event will honor Mario Uberti, the veteran motorsports writer and broadcaster. https://www.auvo.com.uy/en-disputa-l...-mario-uberti/ |

AUVO will join the TCR South America this weekend at the Complejo Polideportivo Ciudad de Mercedes.
Citroën left the Superturismo to protest the bad balance of performance, so there's just 15 entries. There's 17 Superescarabajos and a massive 38-car grid in Turismo AUVO. |
