These RLM boys don't have a very good handle on the tech regs.

Completely backwards description of weight changes for LMP2 vs Alpine.
Nonsense about Toyota hybrid fading away along straights, whereas the new regs allow the ICE to make up the difference.

I have returned from my morning walk so tuning in to Radio Le Mans for a couple of hours while I do some work in the Robinson Crusoe style (didn't get it done by Friday) as I'm off next week.

Also, the Steve McQueen Le Mans film is on the BBC at lunchtime.

<900kg, 750hp and narrower cars like R13 and SMP lmp1 could barely reach 340km/h at their best, about 330km/h is already a big result for cars that are actually heavier, wider and less powerful

The WEC app has been renamed so I couldn’t find it at first!

Unsurprisingly the same in that. It’s like it is a race, with the car with the most distance in the “lead”!

Maybe they are testing the timing too?
