The renewal of your marshal's registration will be an annual event - however you will NOT need to send in a photo each time - the one you have sent this year will be used from now onwards

I assumed, probably wrongly, that as he's new to marshalling he has filled in the new-style form which asks for a photo.

Might do!
Not quite a "baldilocks" but still a chance I might be (16 weeks of hair thanks to cold cap but after-affects without last treatment cold cap to go - so could still go bald). Photo taken currently would not be the same as anything taken 12 months ago - would anybody recognise me? And I have new glasses as well !!!!! (Mucho apologies for this - blame the joy of getting over one form of treatment making me a bit OTT.) What I'm really saying is that I don't want a current photo on my licence for umpty-ump years. What do I do? |

Shelagh, I'd suspect that if in a year's time you contact the MSA and ask for a new photo to be put on there would be no problem, especially given your reasons. By then you'll have lovely new hair for the photo!

Sheelagh - I was referring only to Mark Mitchell with the remark!
If you want an updated photo I am sure the MSA licencing dept will be quite happy to replace one for you whenever asked. Take care |

Thanks for the help everyone.
I registered as a marshal in October/November, but I didn't need to send any photos with my application, and the paper licences that came through had a space to attach a photo. So I'm assuming I need to do the 'new' system now to move to the card (or whatever the new system is!). I'll have a look at the MSA/BMMC sites when I'm back from wathing the Red Bulls in MK tomorrow! |

Yes but appears to be for those intending to seek upgrades. I can't upgrade further and just wondered where I would get attendance signatures signed.

Hi all,
Just a quick question, I received my new licence card today, with a new PRC booklet and a wallet to keep them both lovely and shiny. I just wanted to check that this was all I was meant to get, as the envelope arrived in a state that can only be described as a little worse for wear. (To be honest it looked like a loser from a knife fight and im not sure if someone thought there was something valuable in it). Im pretty sure its all there, but just want to make sure. Thanks. Leigh. |

Got mine today, just not sure when its going to see a circuit as yet. It will see a stage or two but as already stated I dont have anywhere to collect a signature. Not a problem as I dont think Ive had a rally signature for over a year anyway!

No need to worry people the new one is the same size as the original, just the MSA logo has changed format and colour. |
