GoLowndes should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
My husband went this morning & he noticed that the championship trophy was next to the #34 car near the stage and that Rick & Craig's cars were further up the plaza away from the stage... thought it was weird that 1 & 2 in last year's championship weren't the ones next to the stage or trophy.

He also saw all the drivers at a restaurant at circular quay later in the day.

Also, the official launch is tonight at star city - they were just talking about it on channel 7 news.

Those Valvoline cars are really fantastic, the best liveries in the field IMO, the brands stand out as well as anything even though they are navy on silver and silver on black with red outline.

I agree....GRM at this stage has my vote as the best 2007 livery..pity it will only be on the #34 car...The #33 VZ is said to stay in 2006 livery.

The other standouts would have to be Smurphy, and Lowndes' cars

Firstly, cheers for the pic's RJ. Stoked GRM have finally gone for something different this year, that livery looks sensational. I'd love to see Dean and GRM put that beast up the front...

In regards to the 'launch', what a bloody joke! Even if there is something at star city tonight, they had better turn up with more cars than today. I went to the launch in Brisvegas last year, and even though it was rough around the edges, this year looks much worse!! Very poor effort by V$SA if this is true...

Wrong ... The 33 car ..(last years 34 car) has been done in the new livery also. Or so I have been told. Will try and confirm tomorrow, but fairly certain.

I also agree the new GRM livery is awesome.

The good news - #33 is also already decked out in the new livery.

Edit: Bugger Barney - you beat me. But you are correct.

That's a really strange comment, anything that improves by any percentage is obviously going to be better.

Well, they just stated on sunrise that 7 will announce their full scheduals for the TV Coverage on Tuesday, and apparently Saturday Coverage will be up 71% for the year.

First off NAT is the yummy mummy. Know is it just me but the VE has one hell of a bigger front splitter than the BF how does that work in this parity series.

Any word on when PWR and Tasman are launching?

I have to agree with the general concensus on the FPR Richards mobile though, that thing looks shocking!!

GRM looks the meanest so far, closely followed by the HRT mobiles (sans 16 spokers of course ).

From what PD has said, there will be no launch day from PWR at this stage

Presumably you need to have a complete car to have a launch

I think you will find that Vodafone paid a healthy sum for an uncluttered car, in that they have paid for major positions and soaked up minor positions to keep their branding predominant.

You can have as much of the car as you can afford!

No actual pics of the cars themselves but this is how the cars will look like.

Would be easier to get it to take off into space if there are a few bits missing though .... a bit less ballast for the next shuttle...

One pic in R2's gallery got me wondering if they had a Monty Python movie night down at 888 HQ!
