I think the reason there's less chatter here is there's fewer names we actually know as the years go on. As Iain says, so professional. And the quality of driver is amazing.

I have David stopped on track, hope everything's right. Lap times suggest a very wet track (and fording…). Strange enough, the classification sheet shows ten GT 40's then… a Ginetta G4R and the other big Ford's…

There must have been over 20 cars showing as stopped on track. Session over now so hopefully a minor issue for Gilbert.

67 th overall, 11 th in class, 3'53"4 best so far.
The best MG B is 2 seconds behind but a 911 did 3'26"! Wahoo, that's a very fast one.
The penalty panel shows things which should not happen (obviously!), like exiting at La Source when pitting in the F1 part.

Interesting to have a look to the best speed sheet. Overall is a canoe named 26R with 195kph, the 911 is at 177kph, best B at 159 and Gilbert 151kph.

Must be measured in the braking zone, as I can’t see top speed of 26r being faster than a gt40?!

During Summer Classic your friend M Lambert was at 178,5kph when Gilbert was doing 164kph, all this on a dry track. #ForzaGilbert.

Will, just out of curiosity, where would you use the brakes at Spa? At the famous Beer stop and the other famous Pee stop?
Less seriously I do enjoy the ambiance of this part of the forum on race days. May be because unlike some others they's a lot of real racers here…
