Andy77 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Anstey leads´McGuinness at Ramsey on lap 2 by 2.5 sec .... The Kiwi is flying
Anstey increases his lead by a few tenth in every sector so far
After stops at the end of lap 2 McGuinness leads Anstey by 12 secs. This stop must have gone terribly wrong for the Kiwi. Guy Martin follows in 3rd another one second down
Anstey retired at Quarry Bends on lap 3. McGuinness now leads from Gary Johnson by 18 secs
A battle between Guy Martin and Gary Johnson evolves for 2nd

Felt so sorry for Bruce Anstey, seems to have really gelled with that team. Hopefully he will bounce back later in the week - I like to see the victories shared around myself.

Around yourself? - I am not sure I do understand this

However, the first Supersport Race kicks off from 1045 BST today. The Superstock Race is scheduled for 1515 BST

I raced sidecars at the Southern 100 races a number of times in the 70's, I cant remember exactly how many years I entered, but I suspect it was four. I raced British twins, Triumphs and Nortons and eventually 3 cylinder Suzukis. It wasn't until I had a Suzuki that I actually managed to get to the end of a race at the Southern, then, all of a sudden I was in the final and got to the end of that as well. Sad but true, those words weigh up the demise of the British twin and the ascendancy of the Japanese engines. There was another Pearson who came from Newcastle area who raced a Yamaha outfit, he was quicker than me.
Strangely, since then I have often wondered if we were related as my Father, who died when I was very young came from Newcastle. If we were related I certainly didn't inherit the speed and ability he had!!
Sorry about the rush of useless information, not much work to do here this morning.

Well, I was reading Fifty Years of the Friendly Races - the story of the Southern 100 motorcycle road races by Phil Edge again and there was an outfit mentioned that was entered by Bob Pearson Racing. That's what made me asking.

William Dunlop not starting in the 600s Supersport race today
7 min to the start

Should have been 'around, myself..' as in I like to see a number of different winners. Sometimes it gets lost in translation Andreas!
