Martin,
I assume that for the month just before you take your stress ECG for your license you forego the taxi and try and emulate the formula 1 drivers.....or don't tell me, you are actually undergoing the strenous walk to meet your doctor for a drink !! del |

Don't worry about them MP.I'm sure you were just finding the limits of the cars grip and just got a little bit carried away.Hope you have a good run at brands for the next round.

Del,
Llandow! That's a very interesting circuit. I went testing there in a caterham and found it narrow. What was it like in an M3 I do not know! The bus stop was probably interesting. Let us know how it went. |

Hi Wyzard,
Yes too narrow and very unsafe. We only use it for shakedown, not for spirited driving. More a mini-bus stop ! I also race around there on a bicycle and the mini-bus stop is tight for bikes.... We'll be shaking the Porsche down there after the rolling road session. It is close to Lydney where Simpson are, and inexpensive. Oh yeah, and I work a few miles away !! del |

Hate MP WEEK ?
Do you think we'd confine it just to one week, Martin ? BTW, nice piece on Topcats in the July Track and Race Car magazine. |

Quite a lot carry in-car cameras. I organise the in-car footage for the Skysports coverage. I could do with a few more actually - so anyone planning on sticking in an in-car camera, come and see me at the circuit - or drop me a PM.

How will points be awarded for the Britcar-or how will an overall winner be decided...for each race or on agregate?

From what I have read on the website full points are awarded for both the races seperatly.Overall winner will probably be on agregate but that is just a guess.I think the 2 races are to allow for reserves to have a chance of getting into atleast 1 race.

And again Britcar pull a full grid of cars and SIX reserves to date for Brands.I feel this should shows what a good event this must be in a time of dwindling grids. And they always manage to put a first class race.

Can anyone let me know what the story is for the Britcar second race. Is the race definaetly being split? Will there be a mandatory pit stop in the second race? I am slightly confused!
