Class: Senior Lawnmower, i mean ProKart
Chassis: Stratos Clubman - 95 vintage and still going strong
Club: Llandow, 2004 O Plate, 2004 Le Mans 24 Hours (prokart race of course)

We currently stand at 16th out of 33. Any prokarters should check out the website. www.rye-house.co.uk full race statistics and current standings can be found by following these links....'owner driver'...'prokart'...'links to our pages'...'race statistics'

Looking really at running up near the front, where we were in Juniors and hopefully take a few wins and be somewhere in the top 6 at the end of the year, could go either way though as my first race isn't until the 28th of Feb so am only going by last years pace +8hp and testing times
Ive heard and read a bit about those Trulli chassis, arnt they one of the top chassis's going around for that class at the moment?

There's quite a few and they're doing well nationally. Have finally got mine set up right and am really pleased with how it handles. Their part of the Tony Kart brand along with Kosmic and Redspeed so have all the same parts and build quality. Certainly some of the best for Max and other classes too

Just thought that I'de throw a wrench into the works:

Race: KART sanctioned Stock Medium, Stock Heavy, and Blue Wazoom.

Chassis: 2 STS Offsets (STS= Seriously Trick......Stuff) Made in Indianapolis

Race at: Thunderlake Speedway(1/5 mile slightly banked clay oval)
Warrensburg (1/5 mile HIGHLY banked clay oval)
Wellington (1/3 mile FLAT dirt oval)
Travel within 4 states for money races

Currently 3rd in points at T-Lake but lot's more season left to screw that up.
Just thought I would throw this out so I could hear all the latest dirt track jokes. Remember: if you aren't getting dirty, you're not doing it right.

Road raced cars for 17 years, been at these karts for about 4 years and convinced that I never really learned anything AND am getting dummer every day.

I admire anybody that can drive one of these things tidy and fast.

Changing from my Krypton to a PCR chassis, Krypton has too much grip on the back wheels in our conditions..

Dan Fielden has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Class/ World Formula
Chassi/ MS (WF)
Club/ Isle Of Man Kart Racing ASS' (I.O.M.K.R.A)

I think kartin is good as does every driver. I realy admired Montoya in his early f1 days coz he started in f1 when i started in karts and i would always try and be like he was on the track.

What are those World Formula karts like to drive? They better than Pro-Kart? I was under the impression they were between Pro-Kart and 2/ performance levels

I prefer the WF to the Pro-Kart its a quicker class and yes i would say its half way between a max and a pro-kart but i feel that if it picks up then it has potential to be a great class.

Whats your class - Rotax Light
Chassis - Azzuro Z3-M
Championship - No championship as of yet, but next year I will probably enter the NKRC Club Championship and the NSW Premier State Cup.
Compeditors - I used to race with Ian Dyk (although he would always beat me) in Rookies. He has now gone on to race in the Australian Porsche Carerra Cup.

Whats your class - TKM Extreme
Chassis - Tec-Mec
Championship - bits of everything, started off doing s1 at the start of the year but had a terrible first two rounds bending chassis in the first heat of both despite having the pace to run at the front. have had a lot of terrible luck this year so i'm easing off for now and building some money up for the start of next year.

Well I'm now officialy an F6 driver, did the Junior Royale today at Sandown. Was on the pace finished 5th in my first race and similar in the other races which was good as I had to start at the back as I am new to the series, final I started 7th, did get up think I finsihed around there. 7th overall.
I rent well Sam knows who this is Llyod Owen's Royale kart he raced last year.
One thing I need to do is fitness, I 'm not used to 15 lap finals and that much laps on race weekends lol. Overall I was pleased with how I did and won the Novice Trophy.

BTW Sam I'm number 12 just if you wanted to know.

Just to update, this year so far I've been racing in Senior TKM 4 stroke in F6 and some club meetings...My first ever race was at Bayford Meadows in which I came 3rd which wasn't bad. Since then though I've had no luck at all, just about everything has gone wrong..and I mean around 20 things lol, you name it it's happened to me. This is just what happened at the last F6 round at Bayford 2 weeks a go. Two axels gone. One snapped on the test day, another got bent when someone hit me from behind when they spun in the final lol. The coil went. Spark plug went..
Anyway once I have more experience, I hope to do S1, either 2007 or definately 2008. I could also do the TKM festival, touch and go really...this year in F6, I'm well down in the championship, not even looking at the table, just gonna aim for the challenge trophy and win some heats as it's now the random grid postions from now on for most of the race, and the last round is at Sandown which I know very well so I wanna go off the season with a high..

Anyone here also apart from Sam that races in TKM 4 stroke?

Class...
Junior Rotax

Championship...
Clay Pigeon

Opinions...

Racing is the best sport but everyone that doesnt do it says you just sit on ur a** and turn a steering wheel and think that its easy
(they got to try it themselves because 15 lap finals are quite hard work)

Don't worry your not the only one that gets that perception given to them that racing is easy!

Whats the Alpha like to drive? I've always had a soft spot for them ever since i done some laps in one in France
