It's more or less an attempt by the ADAC and DMSB to increase the series' prestige - but I really wouldn't read too much into it, as that title has very little historical significance. It appears this years events will not be streamed on Youtube. The championship say they will still be streamed for free & not geo blocked, although i personally cannot find anywhere to watch them on the championships website.
