verglas should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
gfm, the hillclimber you are thinking about is probably David Good who was frighteningly quick in an DFV powered March and a Lyncar. He had tiny arms and virtually no hands, but was very special to watch! Tony Marsh, as far as I am aware has no disabilities. And Andrew, did'nt Geoff Farmer lose part of his hand in a terrifying argument with the Mallory Park bridge in his Special Saloon Imp/Stiletto??

At Mallory? You may be right of course, I always thought it was an accident he had at work. Geoff is a good friend but I have never asked him about it. I will be seeing him in the next couple of weeks and may approach on the subject.

It's impressive and memorable the cases of these drivers who returned to racing despite their injures/disabilities. These are mens who taught us some life lessons!

In Argentina we have the case of Adrián Hang, who lose part of his legs in 1996 in a terrible accident during a race in the Italian Superformula. After that, he recovered from that using prothesis and returned to race in Touring cars, with much success: first he was champion in one of the classes of the Argentinian Turismo Nacional in 1999, and this year he won the championship of the Group N3 in the Italian CIVT (Campeonato Italiano di Veloccitá i Turismo)!!!

About Argentinian drivers, there is another case in the past of an injured/disabled racing driver. The most recognizable driver of them was Carlos Loeffel, who raced many times in the Turismo Carretera with one disabled leg.
