Lets hope for a good race free of needless safety car periods. I do think the should start about 2 hours earlier than it does. Kind of a waste of a good Saturday morning. Will be cheering for Porsche and R.L.L. BMW today to break the Corvette juggernauts. Also will cheer for Hardpoint Audi, Wright and Pfaff Porsche, and Heart Aston. Betting favorite for GTD is probably Turner BMW Cheering for Penske in DPI.

Mikkel Jensen = really impressive. His fastest lap is more than a second faster than the next fastest LMP2, and under a second slower than the absolute fastest lap (DPI #6)
Not bad for a silver-rated driver ... Last edited by gert; 17 Oct 2020 at 18:23. |

Pagenaud is really slow-ish compared to Montoya and Cameron.
If he doesn't up his pace, he'll soon be passed by Albuquerque |

Full Course Yellow just as the car that was off rejoins
Race control seemed far too eager to throw a yellow |

But no. Now we have lap after lap of trundling around for nothing with pits opened first to drivers born under a full moon and then teams based north of the Mason-Dixon line and then drivers called Dennis. Incredible. I might go to bed. |

And the InterEuropol car again fails to take the wave around even though it was between safety car and class leader. It almost seems like a choice they are making? I mean the car is being run by PR1 who know the rule. And a large articulated front end loader nearly blocked the field coming out of 7, no clue why it is messing with tires over there, hasn't been any contact. |

BMW 24 spins a Porsche (911?) around which is then hit slightly by a Corvette (4?).
Porsche and Corvette lose time, BMW continues as if nothing happens. Not too much damage to any of the cars, but that was a stupid move by Edwards - and he gets away with it -- The Porsche has rear damage, the Corvette has a broken diffuser, the BMW has no issues and gained 2 positions after bumping its opponents out of the way -- and we call that "inconclusive". Big slam at 2, with 6 and 2 other proto. They all moved on but DAMAGE to all. Only saw the end and 77 just caught the wall in front of me again Edit again, not a proto 63 WeatherTech and Dane. They went to the motorcycle chicane and 77 went to the right Last edited by broadrun96; 17 Oct 2020 at 21:39. |
