Welcome to the beginning of the end..
Supercar Kicks off Contracted Parity Review And asking the homologation teams for recommendations. Really? Is it aero? Is it engine? Does anybody know? The team owners don’t seem to.. |

I didn't get to see the Darwin races apart from high lights.
With the 12+ seconds of full throttle and 4 up shifts were the Chevs able to easily pass the Fords down the main straight and drive away? |

Does anybody know? The team owners don’t seem to. Put the Chev engine in a Tickford Mustang and do back to back tests.... it will show if it is car, aero or engine.... problem solved! |

Put simply, no. Overtakes into turn 1 were set up by better performance on exit of the last corner.

I think it's "interesting" the differences between DJR Team Penske and pure old DJR.
Before Penske, DJR were midfield runners, very ordinary. Strangely after Penske they slipped right back there. Since Dr Story especially is no longer around, they are aimless. |

Perhaps Mr Van Gisbergen can be asked for his technical assessment of conventional diffs in a NASCAR versus the locked diff in a V8Supercar..
If it offers benefit, is a cheap change.. is it possible to be looked at |

Meantime, can I have the contract to supply steering racks?
They seem to keep failing, so there must be a great market for replacements |

Any updates on T8 testing their steering rack 'solution'?
At this rate their ought to be compulsory rack changes for the endurance races... Probably need twenty racks for Bathurst, just in case |

Are T8 having more issues with steering racks than other teams, it seems to be the case?

If the spool has been good enough for 30 years (35+ years in Commodores? did the Sierras have spools too?), isn't it perfectly adequate? After all, if there is only one rear wheel on the ground then presumably it doesn't matter which type of differential you have (as long as it's not an open one)?
