We are all the poorer when we lose a person who has always been a valued contributor to these forums and an integral part of our on-going knowledge acquisition.
RIP Pete55 Mike |

Whoa! That is shocking news... terrible, terrible stuff.
Pete was one of the few in here that always made a worthwhile contribution. 10 Tenths was a much better place for his presence - and needless to say it is a much lesser place for his absence. My sincerest condolences to all that knew him. Unbelievable... |

As an online community I don't see us as any different than any other community or club, even though often we will never see or speak in person. Pete55 has been a valuable contributor to the community and I was very sad to hear about his passing. My thoughts and wishes are with the family and I hope they are coping with their loss.
I hope as time passes we can find someway of honoring him here at ten-tenths. |

sorry for posting a few times in this thread but this is shocking and it is such a great loss to our little 10Tenths comunity.
if i could be remembered as half the contributor pete was i would be happy, IMO he was one of the most creadible posters on here and i would always read everyword of his posts and be very interested, i know i come across as abit OTT sometimes but for some reason pete's posts would always seem to bring out the best of replies from me and others. |

Well Im in Shock - no other way to describe it- I had the extreme pleasure of meeting Peter once about two years ago, in the pursuit of this obsession we all share of been motorsport fans. H was dedicated to motorsport and anything related to it, especially V8Supercars and Touring Cars.
RIP PETER - you and your contributions on many forums will be sadly missed. May each and every Forum Participant Past and Present stop for a minute to think of Peter and his family and his passion for our sport. I smile thinking as we mourn here, that he is up in Heaven talking motorsport with another man named Peter Brock. An abslute tragedy - why is always the nice people in the world these things happen to ? |

It's funny how much you can respect someone you have never met, but only communicated with via the internet.
And it's sad when they are taken away much too soon, and even though you never really knew them, you feel a sense of loss at their passing. We'll all miss him here, and sincere condolences to his family and friends. |
