Of course the incident can be revisited, but this line of question wouldn't have really enlightened us. It seems to have just been minor mischief making.

We know what has happened, Michael has actually spoken about it before vaguely.

The next time I want to read about it is in TGF's autobiography.

Agreed. Yes it can be revisited, and it would be interesting. However nothing was ever going to come from that. I'm with Ayse, the journo was trying to big himself up rather than search for insight.

Frankly, Martin Brundle's initial comment has been the thing that summed it up for me. The other stuff hardly needs saying. "That didn't work, my friend, you hit the wrong part".

What I like about this thread are the people who are quite clearly not TGF's biggest fans are not interested in this 'journalists' simple nature.
