The top 4 definitely had the best 4 cars on the day; just wish qualifying hadn't been rained out. The race would have been so much better had Juan and Marcos been able to start up front; both drove brilliantly (Marcos with the better strategy) to make up the places but by the time they got to the Gibbs boys they'd had to use up too much of their cars.
I thought the race overall though was still good, would have been nice to have seen more of the #42/#21 working their way through the field but still there was some great racing. Really wish there were more road course races; they're much more exciting than some of the oval races this year. |
