Sorry to if I offended anyone. I was posting my thoughts about the weight of cars and attempted to close with a funny, o well no luck for me.
The trick to making a good racecar of any type is to make it as light as possible and then add weight so your car weighs the absolute minimum allowed by law. By having the lightest car you can you can add the weight in the parts of the car that gives you the best balance. An example of a team getting it wrong was last year when Heidfelds car was found to be less than 2kg underweight and was disqualified from the race, I believe they did an oil change and made an error with what they put in. |
