Sure is, they were allegedly an aid to getting the (stronger) PPG & Fuchs backing for the main series vehicles

I wonder how BJR pinched NO FEAR as a sponsor from the Kelly's and that Formula Ford Champ Nick Percat....

I would have thought Percat would have given better coverage than the boys from Wagga!!

The DVS series still looks like its only got 3 car/drivers that could win.... so who will be the top 3?????

Maybe a confirmed start in the B1000 might have helped?

Albury. You would think that a previous DVS Champion and former main game driver might get a little more attention than a young bloke, even if there might be a talent disparity?

Yeah but we are talking about Andrew Jones here.

He has not been any good since he drove in the DVS.

And honestly BJR don't seem to have the best package, or is it more to do with there engineering.

Fix the damage from the Friday?

In the past the races have been Friday evening and Saturday morning, but this year the main game has moved it's qualifying from Friday to Saturday so the Fujitsu Series has been bumped a day for Race 2.

Interesting to see TKR now have a car entered... I assume Mathew Hamilton is a Kiwi karting hotshot?

Thanks for that, looks like he had a crack at the Infinity Pro Series at one stage too.

Still, you'd think Moffat's greatest title threat will come from one of the yet to be announced MWR seats...

Interesting to see that Paul Morris's name is not on the list anymore.

does the Fujitsu series run on a lower grade version of REC's? i guess not seeing as some cars run partial season's, but if so... is DJ now considered by V8SC a fit and proper person to hold a contract?

No RECs in the dev series. With the grid below full capacity as long as the driver, car and equipment are compliant and there are no outstanding monies payable to VE$A TKR will be granted a start.

Correct! No RECs - Teams pay an 'Entrant' fee for each round.

“We’ll use Adelaide as track time and from there, we need to start pushing harder, use this year as a rebuilding year for TKR and get Matthew ready for a serious push at the 2011 championship.”
and how do you propose that when....

It is not confirmed yet what car and team package TKR will use after the opening round at the Clipsal 500 event, although John is hopeful of sorting a deal with MW Motorsport.
seems another great forey into v8's by TKR.

It fits with the Promo, "the Greatest Show on Wheels", and like any show, you need a comodey routine, hence the entry.

Well done TKR for getting it together, Matt Hamilton will do you proud, don't be surprised to have a reasonable nudge this year either

"HeavyD" is that a play on "Big Dave" or just a mere coincidence?

All things aside, goodluck to Matthew Hamilton! He is a very talented driver who has accomplished many things in motorsport, espicially karting and deserves this opportunity. If we are all seeming so interested in TKR for various reasons lets support at least him! He may not have V8 experience but will compete to a high level in whatever he does! Lady Wigram Trophy Winner, Multiple NZ Karting Champion , World Karting Championships 2009 3rd! Thanks TKR for giving another kiwi driver a chance!
