you only recive one guest pass for wsb as that is racesafe's policy due they are running the meeting not silverstone.

Ubique should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hi all,
I know that this is a long shot so close to the GP but a very good friend of mine (Trainee Marshal) has contacted me desperately looking for a guest pass (Sat & Sun) after being let down by someone else. Sadly my passes are already being used but if anyone can help then i'm sure liquid restitution can be agreed. My friend isn't on Tenths so if anyone can help please can you send me a PM.

Regards

Ubique

Unfortunately given my tickets away now, but wondering if anyone knows the answer to this....in the past, the guest passes have granted access to certain areas of the infield, bit less crowded etc. Im guessing this might not be the case now as a lot of that space is taken up with the new circuit and building works - does anybody know for sure? Trying to recommend a good spot for my guests!

Any exchange rate is strictly non-monetary, is between the parties involved and is based on the assumption that the recipient is deemed a worthy person to receive it, such as an extra family member, the marshal who gives you a lift on a regular basis and not someone who's really just a spectator and ought to paying for one.

Officially. And if it's any different, we don't want to hear about it.

1st year i went they weren't allowed at all but after some conversations it was negotiated with the powers that be that marshals posted infield were allowed their guests infield too. didn't see any mention of it in the bumf we got, best to either ring or ask when you sign on.

as for good spots, not sure how the viewing for the arena section will be but inside of club used to be good before the changes. might not be possible now with the work going on, but maybe vale is still accessible? probably the slowest point on circuit where you can see cars from the inside of the track.

The wrist bands that Bodysnatcher sent to me which got lost in the post surfaced today in the main sorting office. After a quick trip to pay the balance of the postage (no jokes about the Scots please!) I now find that I have a set of guest bands going spare.

First to PM me and they are yours.

This might be a good time to make sure everyone remembers that all of the wristbands have numbers on them that link them to the marshal that they are issued to which is why Woolley says you ought to be donating them to people that you know and trust...

Should someone be found doing something that they shouldn't be or in an area when they shouldn't be wearing one of your wristbands it may well come back and bite you on the bum!

Thats why we should check that they are going to fellow marshals or their guests and not some spectator who is browsing this forum.

If you're not a marshal then don't bother pm'ing me. I will check your profile and see what threads you have posted in. Someone has just pm'd me for the bands and on checking i find that they have never posted any message on the marshals forum (out of over 3,000 posts!) so i'm guessing that they are not a marshal!
