Tim

I was rather hoping that Claire might rise to the bait and we could have had an interesting exchange, but you rumbled me. Anyhow, they are just the younger guys with all the loot. What about us older boys? - we could adopt Uncle Eric.

Its a great deal and we will support it as best we can.

This year we brought 3 Zetec cars on ACB10's/CR500s, our standard kit.
May be problematic if we are obliged to purchase new tyres just for this race and do not need to use them again.

They are both on list B so would not be a problem anyway

If it's an Olympic breakfast then, probably, a glass of O/J and a piece of Ryvita, or lots and lots of pasta!

OK JUST TO CONFIRM

Hi All.

I posted on out page in Facebook and I will also do a post on our website, but I want to make it clear re the Olympic Breakfast Sprint.

1 Its for 45 Mins...1 or two drivers
2 It has a MANDATORY pit stop, within a pit window (15mins in open -30 mins in Closed )
3 Regardless of driver change you must STOP for TWO minutes (why TWO minutes....well....because we dont want people rushing around if they are refueling!!!

Thats right.....thats the bit that has changed (only because Al Weyman moaned soooo much...we thought "why not")...but YOU CAN REFUEL IN THIS RACE. (I think it will only be AL)
Same rules apply for the refuelling for this as with the 6 hour, Dump CHurns or Tuf Jugs, no Jerry cans....all vented churns....Driver completely out, fully suited person to put fuel in...fire extinguisher etc....you know the drill and it will be in the regs

SO there you have it, its 250+Vat (300 all in) and you get qualifying and a 45 min race on THE SATURDAY of the 360

1st 2nd and 3rd overall and we have got the classes listed before I think because ,,,,to be honest....its filling up NICELY

What are you waiting for you lot????? seriously....Weyman....DONT YOU DARE go ANYWHERE ELSE NOW!!!

Thinking about it, its a shame it clashes with Silverstone, I thought there was a way around vat charges for sport, how do some clubs do it? I will have to speak to my favourite tame accountant and see if it would be possible to claim it back as an advertising expense they can hardly say my car isnt a mobile bill board!! Thanks for the kind offer MGDavid if I go for it I will definitely take you up on it.

About this class A engine size starting at 3800cc. If my engine was standard bore it would be 3781cc. But if I entered in class B everyone and their mate (or just Tim) would tell you I've got a 40thou overbore, which puts me a smidge over 3800cc. I'm betting that would make mine the smallest engine in the class!? No match at all for those big 4200cc Jaguar engines, never mind all the big V8 stuff. Can I enter on my un-bored size........ pretty please?

If you read that post again....(the one at the beginning of this thread )The classes are INDICATIVE....Classes will be done when the entry has closed x

Al. FOr the lasttwo years we as a club have paid the VAT so you didnt have to, but, unfortunately, with Race Retro costs and marketing costs and all the hire costs of the circuit etc 360MRC decided we would register for VAT.

Thats life

I did read it, honest. You gave the same telling off to delta at the beginning of this thread, but that was last September. I just thought as the entry list is 'filling up fast' you may have firmed it up a bit.

I assume the classes won't change drastically though, so I'll just have to wait with baited breath to see if I get to have the biggest or smallest engine in my class.
