Great drivers by Bourdais and Castroneves.
The race was more entertaining than I expected. |

It looks like attendance was up on last year but Andretti must be ruing the day he ever got into the NOLA venture.
This is a classic race and Sunday's race was up there, afaic. Andretti would be better off wooing other traditional tracks like Road America and Laguna Seca. |

This race better return next year. Indycar doesn't need another oval casualty.

What a cool track and what a perfect track for IndyCars.
Dominate from Seabass. PT giving him kudos was pretty funny. Crazy restart there at the end that went clean, like most of the race. Very enjoyable show. Only thing I didn't like was ABC sound. Glad that got sorted towards the end. Nice to see Graham being consistent and in the fight this year. Was wondering if that was ever going to happen. |

There's never been any competition with Football and IndyCar. They aren't mutually exclusive, something Mark Miles doesn't seem to understand.

All the ovals are under threat bar Texas. Which ironically puts on the worst races imo.

It was a great race. Congrats to Sebastien Bourdais for this dominating performance. It's good to see him finally work his magic of old again which I have never actually seen because I didn't really follow the sport 10 years ago.
Milwaukee needs to be back but please, let's have a starting time again that is more in the middle of the day. |

I guess the positive is that it bunches up the schedule so fans can see more. But if something goes wrong, teams are under a time crunch to fix any issues. Personally, I'm on the fence with having qualifying and the race on the same day. |

Agree that it does provide 2 "shows" for the price of one, but that's not really "IndyCar" racing, IMO, is it?

Apparently, Bourdais' underweight car was due to doughnuts. You would have thought doughnuts would put on weight rather than losing it.

Maybe you've forgotten that Bourdais was fined $5000, after he won the Milwaukee Mile as the car failed the technical inspection, coming in below the mandated 1600lbs weight requirement and according to Autosport, the doughnuts were the reason.
