I dont know tbh, you've already got 2 teams needing new cars, the races themselves were pretty boring and the more data you give teams like Red Bull & DJR the more chance they turn up at the 1000 and dominate. Still, better than no racing and whats the alternative at the moment?
I still like Adelaide, hopefully it comes back... |

I probably didn't phrase that quite right but there are SEVERAL categories that are faster than "Supercars".

As a tempory soluion it's okay but in normal covid free times I prefer the Bathurst 12 Hour in february as a season opener and keep the 1000 km race near at the end of the season. Although Bathurst is one of the best tracks in the world I prefer one event on the SC schedule. Add a 500 km race for TCR cars besides the 12h and 1000 km and I am happy. |

If Supercars were 10secs slower than TCR, you make up some other BS as to why Supercars are better.
I don't get I'm still trying to figure out why you (and others) think you like car racing? Supercars, DTM, TCR, Super Touring, 2 litre, 3 litre, V8, V6, I4, what they had in NZ when Jason Richards won every race in the series, it's all the same level. Just the composition is different. Just wait til you find out that the F1 safety car goes round a track quicker in pouring rain than what a Supercar does in a bone dry track. |

Soooooooo - anywaaaay, back on topic....
Yeah, I think it worked - that place is so bloody special & the rhythm of a lap is just right - the cars and the track really suit each other. Don't see it as an "every year" thing and as others have said, that wasn't the plan but as a way of maintaining an event when the 12 hour couldn't be run, I think that it worked - for sure not the drama of Adelaide but it worked. |
