IMO- Wilson needs a new management team behind him. Nobody takes Palmer seriously - in anycase he's not a professional manager and out of his league in the current marketplace.
The only reason that Palmer is Wilson's manager at all is the fact that it came as part of the Palmer Audi prize deal. Wilson needs to adopt more of a killer instinct and get his face in every pit garage and push for every opportunity. Importantly he needs to do this whilst his F3000 championship is still in people's minds, and before the next wave of young talent comes through the system. If I were him I'd def be talking to the Robertson's and David Sears as well. Who know's maybe he is....if not he'll be yesterday's news before he know's it and its a long way back from there. |

Mac, I wasn't really suggesting that Webber has found it easy to get money, I know in the past he's never been well funded. I just find it frustrating that people think it's easy to find money in England. I'm sure it's not easy anywhere, but from the figures I've heard, Webber has FIVE times an F3000 budget for this year, with the same amount rolling in next year too. I haven't said, and I don't believe that Webber doesn't deserve to be in F1. And I also don't doubt that having worked with Webber before, Stoddart wanted him back based on his talent.
As for drivers Wilson beat last year, I'd like to add Antonio Pizzonia, who will surely make his mark in F1 in the next few years, and Tomas Enge, who, if people looked beyond the confines of F1, would see is a very quick driver. Giorgio Pantano and Sebastien Bourdais are no slouches either. And Super Tourer, I think you may have hit the nail right on the head. |

If EJ had taken Justin on board, then B&H would have upped their $$$ involvement and Jordan wouldn't have to resort to DHL as main sponsor and, let's face it, a rubbish livery

Uhn...
The teams must have 2 drivers. Middle level teams like Jordan, usually have one seat for a driver that can bring money, sponsorship or engine deals. The other seat would be for a experienced driver, that can bring results on the races. Eddie deals with Honda, and Takuma Sato seems to be the perfect choice, a talented japanese driver, a short risk. The other, Fisico, is a experienced driver that can guarantee some good points. Remember, the main goal of Jordan is beat BAR. |
