Thanks for the tip Noddy, unfortunately I dont think you have grasped what other people have been saying in this forum. Arden looks nothing like 2advanced and technically couldn't be further removed.
All comments are appreciated though. |

I'll have to agree with that. Arden is a great example of originality. I wish I had done it.

Seriously though - having a hand in new media myself I understand it's not right to rip off other websites. Who wants to have an identikit website? Simplicity works best, and if you can't afford a flashy website it's better to have a simple one that's kept bang up to date. |

Well in defence of web designers everywhere, not all of us charge ridiculous prices.
We tailor our charges to suit our client - if we know they're not flush, then we charge accordingly. In fact the last 2 websites we did, we didn't charge for development really - just for hosting for the year. Then again, we can do that because we only do the websites as a sideline and we both have full-time day jobs - we certainly couldn't afford to do it if we were reliant on it for income. I do agree that a simple website that is kept up to date is the one that will win out over the flashy one with no content that takes forever to load - and usually requires you to download some plugin for the privilege of looking at it! |

LOL - I actually have the full Macromedia suite but I've not had a chance to look at it.
I thought it might be handy for interactive graphics and I've been told that Dreamweaver is a nice package for doing "site suites". One day I might even get time to play with it! |

I like some of the production aspects of it i.e. the designer silhouetted some of the images and used them like clip art in some instances. Overall I’d say, it's design is reminiscent of 3rd generation web design—that would be the design look that used to populate the web when all the navigation was on the left side of the screen. With the tools available and the variety of other sites to draw from I would like to see this designer integrate some of those philosophies.
