Senna's statistics were heavily skewed from his early years though. The Lotus he drove from 85-87 was hopelessly unreliable, in fact in 1985 (only his second season) he led more laps than anyone, but only took 2 victories. Then in 1988 he was in the dominant McLaren team with Prost (not a gret qualifier) and took 13 poles and 8 wins. At the end of 1988 his stats stood at 29 poles and 13 wins, which partly explains the comparison with Schumacher or Prost (33-51 I think)

Sounds like Montoya's first F1 year..., too many leading laps, but only one victory.

Yes. There is a very strange correlation here. Imho 'Senna vs. Prost' is very similar to 'JPM vs. Schumacher' in many ways. And this rivalry can explode one Williams gets its act together in race conditions.
