Can't remember, but the best idea would be the conventional gearshift... does anyone remember that Senna's video in a Monaco lap ? Amazing. Someone ask him: "Where in circuit you put the 6th ?", he replied: "6th in Monaco ? I don't use the 6th there..."

Practically all the way round with one hand on the wheel!
Great stuff, I could watch that all day. |

His onboard qualification lap at Suzuka was also quite a beauty, too bad the commentators didn't shut up.

Mhhhh, it's handled 5MB e-mails but it has bounced a couple of 6MB+ e mails. But I can look it up on kazaa. What's the title on the video?

Oh, at first Spa was afraid, Spa was petrified!
Kept thinkin' he could never live without F1 by his side But then Spa spent so many nights thinking how F1 did him wrong, and Spa grew strong, Spa learned how to get along. OH YES!!! |

That's right. F1 is the poorer for losing Spa, not the other way around.
Spa, Hockenheim... ARRRGGHHH!!! |

Who's being sarcastic here?
Seriously, Herman Tilke does a very good job at creating a good track - given his constraints. He didn't decide to chop Hockenheim - but the new track does have decent overtaking opportunities and stuff. He can't create and 21st century Spa for instance, because safety wise it wouldn't be allowed. I say let him design the tracks - they'll probably be better than Hungary Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Last edited by Asp; 24 Jan 2003 at 17:22. |

No. Tilke does a decent job. And Hungaroring was not designed by him (not sure) but IS a lovely place. Leave it alone. (altough a couple of feet wider track won't hurt).

Hungaroring wasn't designed by him as far as I can remember - and it is (debatably - but let's not go into that argument) one of the tracks on the calendar that least promotes overtaking - which was my point: anything he designs will have more overtaking opportunities than Hungaroring.

Yep, that was my point. Hungaroring is a lovely site. Really. I wish the track was designed by him.
