nameless should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
......they were praising juan after his spin two weeks ago, but not for his spin and waving ability.

anyway, as i see it... juan made a legitimate move on michael and got past, michael span, what a shame. so what ross brawn said afterwards was just plain wrong, i suppose he would say ralf was a classy driver, eh.

as for the being pushed out of the gravel, being allowed to continue again is wrong, he should have been pushed out and then told to park it as it is undoubtedly safer to let him drive out than spend time dragging him out. but he made a mistake and would have been unable to continue without the assistance so should have been disqualified.

Me neither. In fact, I said quite clearly that I thought Ralf was the better driver two weeks ago as well.

Nameless, I agree with you absolutely with regards Ross and his silly comments. I agree with you about how Michael shouldn't have been able to score today: although that is in principle, given the change to regulations then, ultimately, he shouldn't have lost any points today... He was allowed to legally finish, so there clearly isn't any choice in the matter.

I am sorry to say the person who has gone down in my estimation, Is Ross Brawn, A man I Real respect for ,so his almost vitrolic attack on Montoya was out of charecter it was almost as if he meant how dare this upstart come here and make MS make mistakes. No Respect. As for the actual incident , The rules allow it so just get on with life, As someone else said neither Williams or McLaren protested MS so they understood the rules Ho Hum it makes life interesting.

What was worse than the blatant ******** he spoke in itself, is the hypocrisy: does forget the driving mnetality of Michael? He races HARD, he makes people do things the hard way. JPM didn't even do anything that could be interpreted as particularly hard, in that sense, he just doing a normal over-taking attempt.

Sure Michael's front-wing tapped JPM's car, but that is life and part of racing. Complaining about JPM today is like when people, JPM included, complained about Michael after Brazil 2002.

not been reading the rules quite fairly hence my initial uproar on the "push", can someone point out the exact rule that hinges specifically to this incident

Well, smiley, as I understand the situation:

* Last year - drivers could be push started by marshalls in order to get them out of a dangerous place, but then the driver was black flagged.

* This year - the driver can be pushed back onto the track and continue: provided the engine hasn't stalled.

I prefered the way it was, personally, since I do not believe Michael had the right to points today. He beached himself, thus he wasn't capable of finishing the race by his own efforts. However, he was allowed to finish so finish he must.
