Climb:
and Nazir Hoosein, the center of every F1 controversy and FIA's favourite "official", is not biased towards the big F? |

Its sour grapes of the worst kind, and Ferrari hid for a few days that they were the whingers who complained to the FIA Technical Delegate. Interesting reading somewhere that because a "senior" team made the complaint that it was investigated...
What would have happened had Minardi or Toyota had a whinge? Would the FIA have cared?? I hope its a Michelin 1 thru 8, Webber at the top of course |

As usual, if it's Ferrari, it's CHEATING. Anybody else it's clever interpretation of the "spirit/letter/whatever" of the rule(s).
Oh well... |

Michelin are only supplying the current teams in 2004
From Motorsport French F1 tyre supplier Michelin Motorsport in Clermont Ferrand has confirmed that it will not supply more than five teams in 2004, and that it will retain its current customers. The competitiveness of the French product this season has increased demand but Michelin competition director Pierre Dupasquier said: "We currently do not have the industrial capacity to do it." |

Michelin have released a statement about their new tyres (as in "Michelin makes new tyres for Monza...")

It's nice to see that perhaps the changes to the tyres might not affect things so badly after all.
I look forward to a thrilling end of season fight! |

Michelins new tyres are no slower than the old ones, it's official.
Take that Ferrari! God I hope they don't win the title now, I'm gunning for Kimi and Williams to win their respective titles. If Schumacher loses it that might create a few questions about his future over the winter too....hopefully. |

However it is probably just because the new tyres aren't much different to the old ones. |

Facts - What Ferrari says
Schumacher was 8th - Michelin is cheating Schumacher hits Jacques - McLaren and Williams rigged the result. See the pattern? |

You say that new Michelin are no slower than the previous; but now the standings are leaded by MS, a thing that has not happened for some months!
Thus it seems undeniable that BS have one way or another, catched up. Have they improved? have Michelin gone back? Who knows... We just have to wait and see |

?
Bridgestone/Ferrari takes a beating for a couple races in a row and you call that improvement? Bridgestone has gone back, not Michelin... |

It's all bit of a game isn't it.
The thing that gets me is that the FIA are not trying to settle things down. If it was local touring cars, everybody would get together with the orgainiser and sort out a sensible solution (then have a beer together). The FIA don't mind the publicity, cos they're not the bad guys. Michelin realise that Bridgestone might actually have a point, so are giving themselves a buffer (16mm). And Ferrari are game as hard as Ferrari, Williams, and McClaren always have. It is all a game. |
