And assuming you have, are you and Paul both going to be driving? and how many cars?
Also - I think Mr Guy was planning to chauffeur some of us around in his road car, is that still on? Any one else? |

I have hit a minor problem with the Tiv - my clutch is slipping like a slippery eel caught in a slippery net
As I'm not going to be able to fix it in time I thought I'd put a spare seat in the Sunbeam but I haven't found a spare race seat yet. Procrastination rules! At the rate I'm going - I might not be able to make it after all |

The pug is still a road car so it's not really suitable for the circuit yet. I pick it up this Sunday and start work on it next Sunday...

Yeah, get the Talbot up and running for its final outing before it gets replaced...
If necessary, we'll help you fit the race seat! |

Roll Up Roll Up!
For one day only, for the benefit of the British Heart Foundation, the ActiveShop Clio of Mr P Lomax, piloted by Mr Lomax and Mr Pearson will be at Snetterton. There will be a limited number of rides available, but the car will be on track between 9.30AM and about 3.30PM. We will try and ensure those faces we have met over the year get to try out the passenger seat with one of the deadly duo. To ensure people aren't waiting around all day for a ride, I would like to try and pre-allocate a little bit if possible. Allowing for changeovers, we will have about 6 spare slots an hour after sponsors, guests etc, unfortunately it is going to be an outlap, flier and in, but I found the last time I did this, the majority of people were begging for mercy well inside the distance... If we have spare slots at the end of the day, people will be welcome to ride again. The good news is, we aren't going to charge you, but I guess if anyone feels the need to make a small donation when you are signing the indemnity forms, the organisers will be rattling tins! So there are 4 sessions, 6 spaces a session, spots can only be booked on this forum on a first come basis! Session 1: 9.30-10.30 1 2 3 4 5 6 Eddy Session 2: 10.30-11.30 1 Les 2 Kev 3 Sandra 4 Howard 5 Jason 6 Linda Session 3: 12-1 1 2 3 4 5 6 Session 4: 1-2 1 2 3 4 5 6 The earlier you book, the better chance of the car being in one piece when its your turn... There will be rides available in other cars for fees to stop you getting bored before your turn comes... You will need to be there well before the time you choose to sign on! Please read all the posts after this one to ensure the time you are choosing hasn't been taken, the order in which the posts hit this forum will be the decider... good luck! Hope to see you all there RickP |

Mr P, you can definately book me down for a go!! Don't really care when... but preferably before someone throws up in the car...!!
And, rest assured, a sensible donation will be forthcoming... Promises to be an excellent day! (Just don't tell Danielsun...!!) |

Can we all agree not to tell Danielsun?
Or perhaps we give him the last slot just before the car goes for its winter rebuild.... Pick times people or I will allocate badly... |

That'll be no fun... he'll be sat there telling you to slow down and take it easy on the car... On second thoughts, it might be good fun to ignore his pleas and hammer the car with him in it anyway...!!

Rick... Paul
The sad news is..... as much as I would have loved to have a go I am going to a close friends wedding that day. Craig has already suggested that I ask her to re-arrange the day, but its a no go unfortunatly. If someone would take some pictures and have a go for me I would love to donate some money to charity. So not fair! |
