Slight correction - the famous McLaren double non-qualification at Monaco was in 1983, not 82. The rest of the post is very good HBTG, and welcome back to the ten-tenths flock.

There's not much more to be said on Senna's lap, is there? I will always remember it as the F1 moment I will forver name as the most special.
Of course, being a Senna fan I was absolutely delighted at the manner in which he humbled most that day and made Prost look like a novice, both in terms of driving skill and strategy. |

yes he was fantastic on That day... as he was in most races... truelly skill nothing else... the car was no competrtion for the speed of the Williams that year yet he managed to get some great results

Just in case no one has mentioned it yet.....
Senna had his car set up for full wet that day while most (all of the top cars?) were on wet/dry settings |
