Hapul should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Why fix something that's not broken

Pete, as long as you actually know how to fix it. Otherwise you're likely to ..... errr ...... not fix it!

Let me tell you a little story,a few years ago there was a meeting held at symmons plains in december (1999 i think) where TOCA (Kelvin Oreilly) was telling all of the super and future touring teams about the grand plan for the category. an it was.

A control formula call Future Touring, running a control quad cam V8 (nissan from memory).contorl ecu, control diff, gearbox and ratios, control suspension and brakes. a full control formula!

and the best bit was this would reduce costs to the teams as all of the spares would only be avaible from TOCA. and they would bring all the spares needed to the track, and you buy them from toca on as needed basis....

long term there would be a control chassis and you would bolt on a body of your choice.

well the current talk sound very similar.

imagine if you would the finacial benifit to tega/avesco if every spare control part could only be purchased thru them..

at the end of the day V8 Supercars will become in my opinion Future Touring!!!!!!!!!!

thats my thoughs anyway
