Maybe the RS is Andy?

I think originally he was listed in both, due to concerns that the GTS Porsche might not be homologated in time. Did the GTS receive full approval?

Andy who , Kaufmann !!! Ive never heard of him before ? They have Wolfgang Kaufmann listed twice , one under "D" for Deutschland and the other under "G" . Where is "G" from ?

Kaufmann will drive Porsche 966 Turbo A-Level Engineering together with Eric Van de Poele.

Van de Poele? Hmm. That's a strong pairing; it'll be very interesting to see how a blown Porsche fares against Ferraris and Saleens.

Me thinks that you mean 996 Turbo, not the 966 as built by Gunnar Racing.

Just got a message that Nasamax will not start in Germany -- a press anouncement will follow soon.

Let's hope the team will make it to Belgium and the UK. They deserve another chance without engine missfire.

But the works Courage C65, WR and the CDL TVR have joined the grid.

I expect NASAMAX are re-building/updating their car after LM.

It's a real shame the Nasamax is not going to be out, the car has run really well this year so and I am very impressed. I would think they will be back at Silverstone all being well.

I have just seen over on DSC that WR will be joining the LMES from the Nurburgring onwards. Now that is good news.

Bad news coming from St Ives, Cambs. Martin Short's Rollcentre Team will not have Rob Barff aboard due to financial reasons. Rather ashame, as Rob is one of this countries brighter hopes in this discipline. Seemingley it's money rather than talent.

I had thought it was more down to Martin being well enough to drive himself?

With Patrick Pearce now on board, they have 4 drivers for 1 car. Martin S. was always going to stay on the line-up, as was Joao B. - which leaves Rob B. out in the cold. Great shame.

erm.

Sorry, PRF, it seems that P. Pearce is the one who gets the seat originally with Rob's butt in it. You are indeed correct.

So it's currently Pearce and Short, assuming all is well (enough) for M. Short.

edit: Joao! Forgot! Thanks, cy.

Yep:

'We have some technical issues that we are not happy with from Le Mans," said John McNeil. "Plus we need more time to develop this new LMP1 car for the higher downforce circuits. So far we concentrated on the set up for Monza and Le Mans, and we have not been able to test between Le Mans and Nurburgring.

Unfortunately two more cars have withdrawn their entry according to Infos Course. The Lucchini of Lucchini Engineering in LMP2 and the Porsche GT3 of Luc Alphand are off the list...

This list is based on a list send out by the LMES organization last week (and differs a bit from the list published on the LMES site last week). Since Laurent has regular contact with the organization you might say that it is near 100%.

I'm not aware of any deadlines. The race is next week.
