I suspect you will be able to add at least another hybrid to the LMP1 list, probably at least 1 more (new) Lola and question the presence of the BC 575's.
With the Masser hitting the streets, I wouldn't be surprised to see something 'given' to the Saleens as well. Oh, and possibly a GT2 Mosler |

Just I noticed on the first list u predicted there were what, 35 cars? All the LMES races this year attracted 40+ entries. I see on ur 2nd list however things have changed. |

tblincoe...Goh have not confirmed for next year. That's a possible assuming they get funding. Even with funding I wouldn't be surprised if they only ran Monza and Le Mans.

this is just a tentative list i've put together, nothing final by any means... im just going on rumors and tips and stuff like that. once firm information or something of that nature becomes available i will change the list as such. the reason why the first list was smaller was because i didnt have any of the porsche runners on there. this is just something hypothetical right now and should only be take at face value. as for goh i was aware of the issue of funding but i tend to believe that the reigning LM24 champion will get funding from some place to run in the LMES. oh and as for creation, i dont think they will get the 'vettes so i believe they will lease the factory Zytek and just concentrate on an LMP program in the LMES, LeMans, and selected ALMS events. here's my newly updated list:
LMP1 2x Audi UK Audi R8 2x NASAMAX DM139 2x Creation Zytek 1x Team Goh Audi R8 1x Jota Zytek 1x Rollcentre Dallara 1x Lister LMP Hybrid 1x Courage C60 Hybrid 1x Pescarolo C60 Hybrid 1x Taurus Diesel LMP2 2x Belmondo C65 2x Noel del Bello C65 1x Tracsport C65 1x RML Lola B05/40 Hybrid 1x G-Force Lola B05/40 1x PiR Pilbeam MP93 1x Lucchinni LMP2 1x Welter WR GT1 2x Maserati MC12 2x Barron Connor 575 1x Amprex Lambo 1x Konrad S7-R 1x GPC 575 1x JMB 575 GT2 2x Cirtek 360 GTC 2x Larbre Esperante GT-LM 2x RSR Racing TVR T-400R 2x Freisinger Porsche 2x Seikel Porsche 2x Autorlando Porsche 1x Racesports Salisburry TVR T-400R 1x Choroq Porsche 1x Perspective Porsche 1x Sebah Porsche 1x T2M Motorsport Porsche 1x IN2 Porsche |

Could that hybrid possibly be a Dallara? Speaking of Rollcentre, are the team still planning on running 2 Dallara's in 2005? Regarding the new Lolas, are the 2 heading for European teams running in LMP1 or LMP2? Regarding the BC 575's, I was under the impression that the owner was a big Farrari fan, so would stick with the 575's. I suppose they could always run 550's. Or a Ferrari engined prototype Last edited by JAG; 13 Oct 2004 at 16:42. |

There is a distict possibility that there will be more than 1 Dallara running next year in LMP1.
Lola - LMP2 for '05 Jonny Bosch a Very big Ferrari fan who was so pi$$ed off that Freddy Dorr wouldn't sell him 2 of the 'Prodrive' cars, he rang the factory and asked them to build him 2 * 575's instead |

Martin Short said in Autosport there were a number of people interested in running the second Rollcentre car. 'If' Rollcentre purchased the new Lola in 2006 would they choose to run in LMP1? Last edited by JAG; 13 Oct 2004 at 19:01. |

If Rollcentre purchased, would be LMP2.
Both Rollcentre/Dallara chassis are currently in full re-build. The LeMans tub was punctured but is being repaired in conjunction with Lola and CTS. Mr Short is also the proud owner of all the body moulds from Dallara (including the 'older' variant) so is able to easily re-plenish the stock of body parts mullah'd over the year. |

Personally Im thinking Rollcentre will repair both cars and try and sell the cars to someone. After all LMP 900 cars are going to be less competitve next year and eventually being phased out for 2006. Now if Rollcentre are looking at a LMP 2 Id think that the new Lola would be one of, if not the car they are looking to purchase. The C65 is a great car but it will be going into its 3rd year of development next year where as the Lola will be a new car with a bit more potential IMO not least because the car has been extensivley wind tunnel tested, unlike the Courage.

www.dailysportscar.com today reports that a Promec Judd will enter the LMES for 2005. This is the car that entered the FIA SCC in 2003 under Peugoet power. Angiulli, Cafe, Serafini are likely to be the drivers. A excellent bit of news, perhaps not a race winning car, but a definate podium challenger. This car got 2nd place in the FIA SCC at Donnington last year dont forget - which did have a fairly competitve field.

Do we have any confirmations on Audi Sport UK Team Veloqx's intentions for next year? I saw this quote from Johnny Herbert in a piece from crash.net
"I'm definitely looking at racing in the ALMS again next year, so signing off with a victory would be perfect," he admitted. Will Herbert be in the second Champion car in the ALMS for 2005? Is he running the Maserati next year? Will Veloqx have a modified driver line up next year, or are they even running? Lots of questions remain! |

Audi UK want to continue but are still awaiting the official go-ahead.
The imminent collapse of the DTM, after Opels witdrawel at the end of next season, virtually guarantees that Audi will increase their commitment to their LMP1 program in the coming years. Mercedes will also be looking around at possible series, and they have always shunned 'low' powered touring car series such as Class 2 Super touring and the ETCC/WTCC. If Veloqx doesn't run the Audi's next year, I guess someone else will, as the Audi's are the best cars for years now.
The cars were only leased by Veloqx, not owned, weren't they? So if you want to win Le Mans, or some LMES races next year, rent-a-audi and go for it! btw. what will happen with the automatic entry's? and what's Audi UK's role in it? |

Opel have announced they will pull out in 2006.
The DTM can only survive with 3 manufactuers, and due to the huge costs involved it is very unlikely any other manufactuer will enter. Afterall it has been running for 4 years now with the same three manufactuers. Remember the ITC, Opel and Alfa withdrew and the series collpased. BMW, Alfa, Seat, Chrysler etc. are all commited to the new WTCC. BTW, IF Veloqx went to the DTM could this allow Joest to move to the Audi LMP1 project. I heard the Audi R9 will be unveiled at Le Mans 2005! In 2005 the R8 is unlikely to be the quickest car out there. I would bet all of the LMP900 hybrids and the Zyteks will be quicker.
