I'll be there helping out, hopefully with 'the award winning Steve!!' on Startline, and waving the chequered again. Hope it isn't raining this time, I got soaked last time.

Either way, it should be good fun - Its Rallycross

I like the rain at Croft!! It's great seeing the powerslides on the tarmac section before the chicane at the back of the circuit!

The only down side, as a spectator, is sliding down the banks cos they're so slippery!!

Any news on the entries yet??

I see from the Super Series website that Mark Rennison's son will be doing his first rallycross. It will be good to see the Rennison name on the entry list again.
Unfortunately I won't be racing at this one, I will be too busy down on the farm, looking after sheep and lambs. I do hope to be able to sneak over for a couple of hours and spectate.

Don't worry Craig I'm sure there will be plenty of people willing to lend a hand. I think my mechanic will be there I'll ask him to pop along to see if you need an extra pair of hands.

Thanks again for that Mark, much appreciated. Is Ken doing this one?

If RPL are doing things like last year expect the entry list to be online Sunday evening.

If the entry is so good, why have Ken Hall in Div1 and Asa Fatchett in S2000 been rung and begged by the organisers to enter??

FWIW many championship organisers do a "ring round" before events to make sure everyone who can take part do so.

Nothing to see here folks so move along.

My guess is they'll be quite a few people putting in late entries. Its always the same for the first meeting of the season with people battling against time to get cars ready.

Having said that I'm not sure it was a sensible idea to charge competitors SO much more for late entries... if people are a little behind schedule that may just put them off till April. There are, after all, plenty of events scheduled this year...

Just come back after watching practice and a couple of racing before freezing to death.

Could only stand the cold for so long

Well i have to say that today was really, really cold!! Fair play to all you drivers that went out in those conditions.

I think all the marshells deserve a big pat on the back for been out there all day, they must have been frozen to death.

Racing seemed very good from what i could acturally see, think my eyes had frozen by about lunch time. It was also good to see some new faces & new cars out there today.

Does anyone know what happened to Evans in the final, just seemed to pull off and stop?

Unfortunatelly i didn't get any pictures off the day because that involved taking my hands out of my nice warm pockets (which wasn't going to happen today!)

Si

Chris broke his crank shaft in the final and may be out of competition for about 6-10 weeks whilst a new one is made.
